thursday: actually went to westfields in da morning, coz i'm sick of staying at home, and bumped into elham (a few hrs b4 her conjoined bday) and zohra (who i haven't seen since high skool)
then went to pick up nora and we went together to the M.E.N (michelle, elham and nha) party woo hoo! and yeah it was at the lighthouse and we came and we saw pretty decorations on da ceiling and saw most of the gurls including cheryl, maggie, nazia, manpreet, carrie, peggy, katherine and mark who came for like 1 hr, saadia who came for 1 hr too, and i think thats everyone, and for entree there was smoked tasmanian salmon with avocado and straw mushrooms, garlic prawns sauteed in prawn oil with spinach pasta, and something else, mains some fish dish, chicken kiev breast filled vwith fresh herbs and panfried in golden breadcrumbs, grilled sirloin steak with mustard celeriac and kiplfler potatoes, dessert, profiterole shells filled with custard and drizzled dark chocolate, sticky date pudding with... Yes, it truly is December. I know this because everywhere I look is fake snow, bright baubles and scented shopping malls. I do love it though.
Husband isn’t a big Christmas fan, he has made it clear the tree can go up, but it mustn’t get in the way of the flat screen telly and it better not flash too much, as that exacerbates his Aspergers Syndrome.
I told him that him talking about the happy Christmas tree exacerbates my hormones and makes me feel like taking him straight to punchy town, he told me such a place didn’t exist.
I said it was a metaphor – he said he didn’t like metaphors – I said “shut up or I will poke your eye with a Christmas bauble” it went on for ages, suffice to say I won and he dragged the tree from the cupboard with an annoyed face.
Every year we go through the same crap. I don’t want a gift as I don’t need anything and I can buy stuff myself. He doesn’t want anything as we can never get him what he wants (his own house with padded corners, a... (more)
leap of faith cheater
Yesterday, I had all these thoughts swirling in my head, wanting to get out possibly in the blog. Alas, that whole "updating servers" shutting things down left me frustrated. Now I can't remember half of it.
Part of it stems from this whole Tiger Woods thing. I don't know why it bothers me so much. Celebrities mess up, and I usually stay out of that whole gossipy situation, but this Tiger Woods thing bothers me. Here's a guy who has everything going for him and he's out cavorting around with these skanks. What a disappointment.
Not that I'm perfect. I've cheated before. Not since I've been married, but I did cheat when we were engaged. I also cheated on a previous boyfriend. I just chalk those transgressions up to being young and selfish.
Am I capable of cheating now? I've asked myself that before and there are times that, I must admit, I would have if presented with the opportunity.
